Thursday March 30th VACATION

I got access! yea! Well we have had fun, fun, fun-lots of fun, so sad almost over :{ what have we been up to? well.... The island is fantastic, filled with tons of wildlife and natural experiences! We saw our first ever scorpion, albeit dead. Geckos and lizards of all shapes and sizes that really do lose a tail if you try to grab them by it! Hermit crabs, conchs, and sharks teeth-tons of sharks teeth! If you like to colllect sea shells, this is the place for you...I have never seen so many sea shells! We have a little golf cart to tool around the island on, a kayak for the bay, and a pool steps away. We took a long walk up to the south end of the island last night and collected and inspected the conch that washed in at low tidw and then returned them safely to the gulf. It is blissful to my soul to walk the beach with my children splashing and playing arond me, running ahead and laughing (okay actually throwing wet sand at each other) while I stroll with my beloved and am once again reaffirmed that having children is the number one blessing of life. Little lives to hold, and guide, to love and show and to watch them wonder in the absolute beauty of life...that is what it is about folks, living and learning with those you love-and I am madly in love with mine!
