Blog Intro

Don't know much about blog protocol...suppose I should have done an intro or something, so- The real reason for me starting a blog is because I am in the process of switching from homeschooling to unschooling, and I wanted to have a log, or journal, to keep track of our experiences. We moved from traditional schooling, to homeschooling with a curriculum written by yours truly, to a long distance computer "school" and now to unschooling. I am far more uncomfortable unschooling than any of the above-we have really spent the past 6 months deschooling. The funny part of this whole thing is that I am a teacher by trade, as is my beloved husband. Some of our days are jam packed with experiences, and I delight in finding the learning that is taking place naturally. Some days we are just chillin and forming bonds and relationships. In the long run, these may be the most important lessons of all!
