Church, love that, good music, good friends...God is good...
Shopping for good food for the week:
Sunday is soup night-Chicken chili and cornbread, yum
Monday is mexican-nachos!
Tuesday is Italian-balsamic chicken pasta, with feta, and sundried tomatoes
Wednesday is zucchini and mushroom calzones
Thursday is Chef's choice-I choose black bean and sweet potato enchiladas!
So glad that is settled for the week! :)
A good book Animal,Vegetable,Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver (am I the last person to read this?)
A nap, and then another...yum
a little laundry put away, a bookshelf put together, a rumble of thunder sends everyone running to the weather radio-nope! Not our county!
Two cute little baby boys in the tub, splashing and smelling like honey-Burt's Bees baby wash (yum, again)
Dinner, with tablecloth (vintage sheet-shhh) fresh flowers and taper candles in thrifted wood candle holders...chicken chili and cornbread...cold lemon water in mason jars. Sigh.
Another rumble of thunder, dark clouds, light the candles to calm the souls
No rain, sunshine now, candles still lit, arguments over the game they are playing in the other room...
brownies on the counter, plans for tomorrow, babies are sleeping, take a deep breath...
